A few years back, Dunbarton’s Steve Saka was approached by the Red Meat Lovers Club to blend a cigar that best complimented the hearty nature of beef. This small-batch, limited edition quickly grew in popularity and became a yearly release. But after years of quickly selling out, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust decided to make this fan-favorite a full-blown regular release.
A good cut of beef needs a full-bodied blend to go with it, right? Expect a potent Nicaraguan-made blend loaded with tobacco from Nicaragua and the US. These commanding tobaccos are then topped with a Mexican binder and then finished with a Broadleaf maduro wrapper. This meaty powerhouse is ripe with notes of umami, earth, dark chocolate, and hints of charred meat. Fire up the grill and load up on some steaks!
