Real Time Inventory
With the launch of our new site Atlantic Cigar has switched to Real Time Inventory. We did this for a variety of reasons, but mainly to show the customers what’s in stock and available for purchase right away.
Due to the nature of the cigar industry, keeping accurate Real Time Inventory can be a challenge as some items may have incorrect levels. We would like to say that we are close to 95% correct when we give an inventory status.
Backorders / Notifications
We no longer accept backorders due to the nature of our industry and the manufacturing process of cigars. However, customers can be notified of items when they become available again. Most Out of Stock items arrive back in our warehouse within a week or two, sometimes longer depending on the manufacturer and/or the item. We recommend putting yourself on the Notification List for the product you want to purchase.
We have built a notification system in for items that are currently out of stock. If you choose the “Notify” Button, you will be asked for your name and email. As soon as these items come into the warehouse, you will receive an email with a link to the item, or you can also call us when you receive the notification to order the item. Please note notifications are not a guarantee that the item will be available at the time you place your order due to demand and/or supply of items. Items are on a first come, first serve basis. To ensure you will get a chance to purchase this product while it's in stock, we recommend you put your order in as soon as you can. If you were notified and/or want to be notified again on an item, you will need to set up additional notifications.
