Probably one of the best cigars I have ever smoked in the two and a half buck category. The only compliant I have is that the weight of them is all over the map. I started noticing that one cigar might burn down in under an hour, while the next one would go for close to two hours. So I weighed them and there were no two the same weight. This is not a huge issue, it's just that I wish I had known beforehand about the super heavy one that seemed to last forever, and I would have smoked it on a different day that was more suitable. I would buy them again.
The Oliva Cain is made by the blending of full bodied & flavored ligero tobaccos from the top Nicaraguan tobacco growing regions of Esteli, Condega, and the Jalapa Valley. The blend is comprised of 25% Esteli Ligero, 27% Condega Ligero, 30% Jalapa Ligero. The end result is a full-bodied cigar with lots of strength and flavor, but blended in a way that each ligero tobacco used balances the other and provides a sense of smoothness. These cigars have been a crowd favorite since their introduction, and we recommend them for experienced cigar smokers who enjoy robust flavors.
