Tatuaje 8-9-8 (6 3/4x44)
This is a blend that cigar nerds will LOVE. Trust me, our office is frothing at the mouth trying to sample one of these tasty morsels. Blended by Pete Johnson and handmade in Miami by just one roller, these cigars were produced back in 2023 and have been aging patiently since. Normally, any Tatuaje cigar would get folks excited – but a two-year-aged premium rolled by one of My Father’s best rollers? This is going to fly off the shelves!
The Tatuaje 8-9-8 is a tribute to old-world Cuban tradition, crafted by Pete Johnson and master blender José “Pepín” García. Named after the classic Cuban format in which the cigars were originally packaged—eight on the bottom, nine in the middle, and eight on top—the 8-9-8 delivers a nostalgic nod to heritage while showcasing the bold, nuanced flavors that Tatuaje is known for. Blend details are murky, but you can expect a medium-to-full-bodied profile that unfolds with notes of earth, cedar, espresso, and a touch of pepper, balanced by a smooth creaminess that lingers on the palate. Presented in its signature cabinet box, the Tatuaje 8-9-8 is a refined smoke that honors tradition while satisfying today’s discerning aficionado! Only 500 boxes will be produced.
