San Lotano Habano is made by rising star blender and tobacco grower A.J. Fernandez. His cigars are known their bold rich flavors. The San Lotano Habano was blended to satisfy the full-bodied smoker, but made in a way to be balanced between strength and flavor. Constructed using a rare Cuban seed ligero wrapper grown only in Brazil by the Fuego family and fillers from Nicaragua, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic, these cigars result in a full-bodied cigar with rich flavors of tobacco and spice followed by a long enjoyable finish.

One of my favs

I’m a Habano freak and have smoked a boatload of them from high end to low end. Consistently good, this stick provides ample spice, cedar, cinnamon, sweetness, a lot of cream and richness. San Lotano Habano shows yet again that you need not brake the bank to find an excellent smoke.

Surprisingly Good

I bought these on AJ's reputation and was sceptical at first. The blend is not as potent as say my Oliva Cain F-550 Habano or Maduro and I was somewhat disappointed after smoking one. However I let them rest in the humi for a week and on a whim tried one on a warm-ish sunny day in the "man cave" and all I can say is WOW!! I was Very Surprised how rich and Spicy this was. Very Elegant - heavy in the hand and absolutely delicious. Robust - Good amount of Black Pepper up front which I crave - and a nice long creamy finish. Not a powerhouse like my Cain Maduro but a very enjoyable solid medium full - creamy - peppery elegant cigar.
