The Meerapfel Richard cigar pays homage to Richard Meerapfel, President Jeremiah Meerapfel’s father.  Richard Meerapfel created what the family calls ‘the miracle of Cameroon tobacco; considered the noblest of wrappers in the world, the sacred leaf also known as MEERAPFEL African Gold was his quest and masterpiece.  The Meerapfel Richard cigars are available in seven sizes. What they have in common is the genuine MEERAPFEL Cameroon wrapper: very old bales of tobacco, which Jeremiah has set aside since his father, Richard, passed away. No other tobaccos are disclosed. Every master blend is different (two of them are remastering’s of very old blends which have been abandoned for a long time; two are new).  Every master blend is manufactured by a different icon of the cigar industry, also not disclosed. Every master blend has a unique color, laser-design on the rings, comic card, and other elements, recalling the story of that particular MEERAPFEL family generation.
