At Atlantic Cigar Company, we live and breathe all things cigars. We routinely debate wrappers, strengths, and blends to just about anyone who’ll listen. But science? Definitely not our strength! So that’s why we teamed up with the folks from Cuba’s Instituto de Investigaciones del Tabaco to develop the La Tribu brand. Years were spent blending and re-blending, while working with some of the top minds in tobacco. The end result? A rich and flavorful gem that’ll go toe to toe with some of the finest blends on the market.

Cost was a big factor in development. What’s the point of crafting a top notch blend with Cuba’s finest scientists if no one can enjoy it? The focus was solely on the quality of tobaccos. The blend is comprised of an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Dominican binder and Nicaraguan and Dominican filler tobaccos. After rolling, the cigars are then aged in cedar cabinets. The true flavors of the tobaccos are allowed to shine, never sacrificing flavor. The only catch? Aging the cigars obviously takes time, so availability can be scarce.
