Amazingly inexpensive, very expensive taste.
The H. Upman Añejo Toro runs into that higher quality you would expect with beautiful transitioning between each of the first, second, and final thirds. The stick cuts finely with little resistance but shows a grouped roll. It draws so well throughout, no pulling hard or rolled tight will be present. The ash is light gray and groups well, almost before the next third will it fall. Ranging from a cool caramel, nuttiness full of mild tobacco, and delving deeper into a heavier (and richer) tobacco that shines upon its earth and continues to make the palate full of bold nuances of pepper, somewhat leather, I even taste some type of note of a fig or something I cannot put my finger on. The Final third ramps up but not a hot smoke. DEFINITELY one that stays in my humidor year round. 9/10
