Davidoff Yamasa Series Cigars

The new Davidoff Yamasa has been 20 years in the making. It all started out with Master Blender Henke Kelner's impossible dream to turn the unforgiving swampland of the Yamasa region into a successful tobacco-growing field. When everyone said it couldn't be done Henke persisted. He held an unwavering belief in the natural bounties and potential for the land. And he was right.

Taste the elements with Davidoff Yamasa. Yamasa is part of Davidoff’s Black Pillar series that features innovative cigars with a bolder and adventurous taste profile from tobaccos found all over the world. The Black Pillar series links how nature’s elements have influenced the soil, plants and tobaccos that are found in our special blends. This blend is ideal for aficionados looking for an unconventional taste stimulation combined with the typical Davidoff smoothness.

Elegant And Sophisticated.
Written by Andrew G. on Mar 30th 2026

If you’re looking for the best of the Davidoff Black Pillar Series; this is it. The intense, unique flavor profile is only possible thanks to growing the immaculate Davidoff tobacco plants on what once was swampland. Powerful in complexity and flavor, this is a cigar for any lovers of the Millennium Series or any Chefs Edition previously released. Earthy, mildly-spiced, and a perfectly balanced amount of what is close to Himalayan pink salt, with a beautiful cedar finish, the flavors build to a crescendo towards the end, leaving a delightful, blissful feeling, reminiscent of the finest cuisine at a top-tier New York restaurant, such as dining at Le Bernardin. Sophisticated.
