Tabacalera Pichardo was founded by Eradio Pichardo, a Cuban agronomist back in 2005. Pichardo worked under Arsenio Ramos, so you know he knows tobacco. Rolled in an earthy Mexican San Andres wrapper over Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, this cigar is a medium to full-bodied experience. Earthy and woody with some mild pepper and bitter cocoa. Nice aroma. No sweetness but still smooth and balanced. Strength starts out medium but finishes strong and spicy with a long lasting cream finish. Draw is nice and produces lots of thick chewy smoke with a clean burn line and tenacious light gray ash.
