Freaking Amazing!
I was first introduced to this cigar while living in San Antonio. My time was up for my job there and I was waiting to go back to South Carolina. I met a lot of good people there since Cigars International was the place to hang out for a good lounge experience. The weekend before my departure, they had a party and one of the good people I met there gifted me a box of Orthodox. Someone said, that wasn’t a gift, it was a marriage proposal. HA! I see why! Now, I’ve never smoked this stick before. When I returned to my apartment, I poured myself a glass of bourbon and took my music to the patio to enjoy one. That cold draw made my ears stand up like a German Shepherd! I was like, “ oh SNAP!” I continued through the first thirds only to have that peppery, earthy goodness intrigue me to go further. I did, eagerly. Through the second thirds seems like the pepper had slowed down a little to allow other spices of nutmeg to enter. But just like that, the pepper returned. This cigar is potent! It’s not for the novice smoker. EAT! Or walk into a wall when you stand! lol. The final thirds didn’t back down because this cigar stayed consistent throughout! And the burn was crazy! That ASH! I tried not to tap it just to see how long I could grow it. I tell ya, it dropped off midway the cigar…lol. That box has long since been smoked but, I’ve recently made a purchase for a five pack. These are gonna be GUUUD!!!!!
