Same full flavor with a slightly lighter touch than the Rothschild
Being a fan of the original Bronzeback since last year, when I saw this vitola released, I snatched up a 10-pack. And after smoking a couple, this will be my preferred vitola of this wonderful blend going forward. What I love about it is that even though there are only two more rings than the original, if feels a little more refined. Where the Rothschild is bold and in-your-face, the Robusto backs off a bit. It's still bold but less intense, especially in the final third, where the spice really ramps up. With the Rothschild the spiciness is pronounced. With the Robusto, the spiciness is there but much more balanced. The nicotine is much more well-behaved in the Robusto than with the Rothschild. That said, I love both vitolas, but if I had to choose one over the other, I'd go with the Robusto!
