Umbagog Bronzeback (5x48) By Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust (5x48)

Umbagog Cigars, a new blend for cigar-man Steve Saka and his boutique cigar company Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust. The Umbagog cigar gets its name from the pristine wilderness lake, where Steve Saka enjoys his two great loves, cigars & fishing.

The Umbagog blend utilizes Broadleaf wrapper that is deemed too ugly to be used on the Mi Querida line. As they say looks aren’t everything, and this cigar proves that, delivery a unique array of amazing flavors in a full-bodied profile.

The use of this thick broadleaf wrapper allows the cigar to hold up to the rigors of outside activities, from fishing to mowing the lawn, or for those hardcore chewers out there. As with most Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust production is low, so grab a bunch today before they sell out.

Don't let Saka fool you!

Even though Steve Saka implies that the Umbagog is a stick he made for doing yardwork or doing multiple relights, this is NOT a stick I'd ever waste on honey-do tasks. It's just too good of a cigar, even if it's sub-$10. As for this version, I like it way more than the original and I dug that stick! The Bronzeback demonstrates what can be done with a Broadleaf wrapper. One would think it would have those dark, sweet notes, but this is a totally different expression that's much brighter and spicier than standard Broadleaf.
