Trinidad Espiritu Series No. 3 Toro (6x54) 10-Pack
Trinidad was known as a traditional, Cuban-legacy brand for years. At the time, the brand had classic, simple packaging. The cigars were good, but it was hard to stand out. But a couple of years back, that changed with the release of Trinidad Espiritu Series No. 1. A brightly colored blend from the minds of AJ Fernandez and Rafael Nodal that flipped the brand on its head.
Trinidad Espiritu’s third installment is another collaboration between Fernandez and Nodal. Loaded with a core of Nicaraguan tobacco, the blend is finished with a Mexican San Andres wrapper. This wrapper is genuinely stunning. Dark and smooth, the cigar looks like a work of art. Expect a rich bouquet of dark chocolate, cedar, and hints of spice on the finish. This is one of the few cigars that tastes as good as it looks.

Ordered these after having tried a sampler which included the #1, #2, and #3. The #3 was my favorite. I ordered these for a really nice golf outing for my birthday. They shipped to CA quickly and I received them in time to share with my buddies on the course. The smoke itself is enjoyable with a lot of mocha and coffee notes. This cigar is a hole in one.
I've been a big fan of the No. 2. The Brazilian wrapper is dynamite on that cigar. But the No. 3's San Andrés wrapper really took me by surprise. Now I have two Espiritus I can enjoy! Both offer a deep, rich flavor profile. The No. 2 is more earthy while the No. 3 is a little sweeter and chocolaty. Both are winners in my book and you can't go wrong with either!
What a bold cigar. But also very mellow , full taste in your mouth without any harsh or horse or spicy or burning sensation. This cigar delivered plenty of smoke almost to the point where you could chew it and have it for dessert. It was that good. From start to finish , I could hardly put this down in the ashtray to collect my breath. This is one scar that you want to have in your humidor for those special locations where you have friends over where you have good classes of wine or a nice whiskey , and you want to enjoy a beautiful weekend , this is it.
An outstanding, refined smoking experience with rich, elegant, and indulgent San Andrés flavor, supported by perfectly balanced spice. This will become a staple in my humidor.
I've smoked both the series 1 & 3. The series 3 starts less aggressive than the series 1 and seems smoother or more balanced. But beware, series 3 ramped up the strength in the last third. Good Stik. 3.5 out of 5
