Call To Arms aka Goodness!
I was told to try all of Stolen Throne and Call to Arms (Corona vitola) just happened to be the first one up. The caramel colored wrapper was gorgeous and had me hoping the internals would match the exterior. Upon light up I greatly enjoyed the subtle salt note and nutty but more earthy nut note than what many say is peanut. There was some pepper but it was quick on the retro and longer you exhaled it would smooth out and disapear lovely. The cigar did have changes and it was like the multiple flavor notes took turns dancing at the front of the palate in a wonderful way...everything from Milk chocolate in the second third along with its dance party of graham cracker or wafer cookie were wonderful...many will tell you the final third will go all earth/leather and some coffee notes which I concur but anytime folks tell me the end is earth and leather it is NOT a good thing. Call to Arms however absolutely if there is a sweet leather is one...and the earth reminds me more of herbal type notes of earth or twigs we all used to bite as a kid when playing out in the woods. Was an AWESEOM cigar and one which was diverse in what it delivered but never so overpowering you felt pushed back. Will absolutely be buying more of them.
