Regius was introduced to the U.S. market in 2013 and prior to that was only distributed in the Europe market. The Regius is made in Nicaragua by Nestor Plasencia, who is one of the best producers of cigars in the world. The Regius Small Batch Black Label uses an all Nicaraguan blend of well-aged tobaccos and utilizes every part of the plant from all growing regions of Nicaragua. Made in small batch productions which helps keep the blend and construction extremely consistent and well-made and ultra-boutique. Each Regius Small Batch line is carefully tweaked to add a slightly different enjoyment to the already exceptional Regius cigar line-up. The Regius cigars are known to be very Cubanesque and a flavor profile that’s more Cuban then Nicaraguan. The blend delivers creamy flavors of leather, wood and some floral notes with a hint of sweetness.
