PUNCH GRAN PURO NICARAGUA

The Punch brand needs very little introduction, the brand originated in Cuba back in the 19th century. The Original Punch Gran Puro line was a huge success, a bold full bodied smoke made in Honduras and receiving Cigar Aficionado’s “Top 25 Cigars of 2016,” as the #10 best with a 93 rating!

New for 2017 we have the Punch Gran Puro Nicaragua, a new bold full bodied blend of the Punch Gran Puro line now hailing from Nicaragua, with all Nicaraguan filler tobaccos wrapped in a rich dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The cigar blend deliver a full-bodied boldness, the cigar gets it fullness from it heavy handed use of Esteli, ligero filler tobaccos, giving strong notes of pepper, chocolate and leather. The cigars are then finished in a dark Connecticut broadleaf wrapper from a 2011 crop that lends a nice natural sweetness which helps balance the bold fillers used in this blend. The cigars come packaged in boxes of 20 cigars and available in 4 popular sizes.
