Plasencia Year of the Rabbit Limited Edition 2023 Cigars (Toro 6-1/2 x 54)

From the Plasenica family, one of the largest growers of tobacco and supply some of the top brands in the industry. The Plasencia Year of the Rabbit cigar is a 6 1/2 x 54 Toro and the third release from this cigar producing family with over a century of history starting in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. The cigar celebrates the Chinese New Year (Lunar New Year). Each year is represented by a character from the Chinese zodiac. The “Year of the Rabbit” is a Nicaraguan puro using tobaccos from the various Plasencia farms. The blend is focused on tobacco from a very special area within the Jalapa Valley, the cigar is described as mild to medium-bodied. This blend was created to match the redeeming features of the rabbit, such as gentleness and elegance. It features notes of nougat, green tea, cedar, and cardamom. Production is limited to 6,000 boxes of “The Year of the Rabbit” and only 3,000 are for the U.S. market.
