Patina Maduro Cigars
Patina Maduro Cigars are produced at Mombacho Cigars S.A.’s Casa Favilli factory in Grenada, Nicaragua, the creation of Mo Maali & Claudio Sgroi. The Patina cigar line is currently available in three blends a Connecticut and Habano and now a Maduro. According to Mo Maali; “Patina is an oxidation process that, over time, produces a green film over bronze or copper,” referring to what people might be familiar with seeing on statues or buildings. “In the same spirit, our experiences in life shape our opinions, attitudes and beliefs. Just as those buildings underneath the patina retain their original character, we too as human beings will always be ourselves at our core. No matter what happens in life, always be true to yourself,” he added. Little is known about the blend, but the cigar produces rich notes of milk chocolate, leather with good hints of pepper and spice.
