Because their tobacco operation is vertically integrated, that is they oversee the growing, aging and rolling of their cigars, the Padrón's are able to stockpile and age their own tobaccos for long times. The Family Reserve line is made with Nicaraguan tobaccos that are aged 10 years, something that is quite rare in the cigar industry.
