Great smoke…
I’m very surprised as to how much I enjoy this cigar…nice, dark wrapper, great drag and burn, taste just bold enough…if you’re looking for an inexpensive cigar for golf outing, graduation, bachelor party, etc, this is the one!
La Gloria Cubana Esteli Cigars (White Box)
The La Gloria Cubana brand first launched in Cuban back in 1885, since than this old lady has seen many transformations with some outstanding blends. The first rebirth of La Gloria Cubana started in Miami when Ernesto Carrillo started making this brand in his El Credito factory on 8th street in little Havana. The cigar was the best kept secret in the industry until Cigar Aficionado's outstanding rating brought this brand to the spotlight of cigar smokers everywhere. Fast forward, La Gloria Cubana has introduced a number of outstanding line extensions in the last decade or so. Releasing fuller-bodied blends focused on using bold tobaccos from a multitude of tobacco growing regions. In 2018 at the IPCPR trade show, La Gloria Cubana released La Gloria Cubana Esteli –which continues this trend. The La Gloria Cubana Esteli is a Full-bodied, full-flavored, Nicaraguan & Honduran blend. The LGC Esteli delivers a bold flavor profile, it starts with a deep brown ligero wrapper from Nicaragua’s rich Jalapa Valley. Underneath, a Honduran leaf binds a core of Honduran seco and ligero long-fillers grown in two different regions, Jamastran & La Entrada. The end result is a complex medium to full-bodied cigar with notes of cedar, spice and white pepper. The La Glora Cubana Esteli is sure to keep the LGC fans happy with their focus on bold and full-bodied smokes.

After being in my humidor a few days I came to like the cigar. It had a taste that reminded me of the CAO OSA. A dense taste for an inexpensive cigar. I burned each one to the nub burning my fingers. I would buy again.
This cigar is a Jem. The wrapper is dark but not too oily and has great flavor. I have smoked a complete box and all the cigars have had the same great draw and burned evenly the entire stick. What I like most is the mouthful of smoke you get with only a light draw reminiscent of cigars costing several times more than these. You can’t go wrong.
