La Galera Imperial Jade Cigars
La Galera Imperial Jade cigars are a medium to full-bodied cigar and the newest addition to the brand's cigar portfolio. It features a Cameroon wrapper, Criollo (Jacagua’s Farm) binder, and Piloto Cubano (Jacagua Farm) & Criollo 98 (La Canela Farm). The cigars are wrapped in a genuine African Cameroon wrapper, making this cigar rare and special due to the difficulty of growing Cameroon tobacco. Most cigar factories shy away from using Cameroon wrapper due to the difficulty and extra work of processing this wrapper leaf. Despite this, La Galera's blender and owner, Jose Arnaldo Blanco, also known as 'Jochy,’ was set on producing something very special despite the challenge. The final product is something that, like the imperial jade, is alluring, enticing, smooth to the touch, and irresistible to look at. The result is a rich color cigar, with a flat head and even combustion. It’s a predominantly toasty, woody smoke with touches of brown sugar and coffee that lead to an herbal finish. Medium bodied in strengthen with a full flavor profile makes this cigar a true standout that’s sure to please. The La Galera Imperial Jade cigars has received 90-rating by Halfwheel as well as 89-ratiing by Cigar Aficionado.
