When Litto releases a Limited Edition, they usually go quick, because smokers of La Flor Dominicana can't get enough and always come back for more. Due to La Flor Dominicana's reputation for quality construction and unbelievable flavors, you can't go wrong with a special release from one of the Dominican Republic's finest cigar makers.
Chapter One is the first cigar blended by Litto Gomez's son, Antonio Gomez, as he learns more about his father's company and begins to take a more active role in running it. But that's not the only thing that makes the Chapter One a special cigar. This La Flor Dominicana is also the first box-pressed chisel released by the company. In order for the box press to work with the chisel shape the ring gauge was increased before pressing so there would be a more noticeable taper for the chisel head. You won't find a more unique shape, but Antonio Gomez made sure not to let the shape outshine the tobacco. His process for blending the cigar started by testing the various wrappers available to La Flor Dominicana. He finally settled on a high-priming, dark Brazilian wrapper leaf that punches up the strength and richness of the cigar. He then selected a Connecticut broadleaf binder that adds depth and more strength to the profile. Add these two leaves to the flavorful Dominican filler grown at La Canela, La Flor Dominicana's famous tobacco farm, and you have a well-made, full-bodied smoke worthy of the La Flor Dominicana name. Don't miss out as history is made with this special limited edition from one of the premiere cigar companies in the world.
