The HVC Hot Cake uniqueness comes from its blend. HVC uses a Jalapa Corojo 99 with Esteli Corojo 98, for the binder and filler. Both are from Aganorsa Farms in Nicaragua. For the fillers they used three different varieties of a newer tobacco called Corojo 2006 Maduro. HVC specifically chose the viso from this extravagant plant to give this cigar a flavor profile like no other. The tobacco used gives this cigar a super-rich flavor profile with a ton of sweetness. Amazing

I never write reviews. But with this I couldn’t resist. This is an absolute flavor bomb with creamy, thick, sweet smoke and a delicious San Andreas wrapper. I always keep a few half coronas on hand for a quick 20-30 minute smoke, and these will for sure be a staple in my rotation. Looking forward to trying the broadleaf next.
