Fratello Pennsylvania Figurado Maduro Cigars - Regional Release 2020
The Fratello Pennsylvania is a new Regional Release Cigar that will be sold exclusively to retailers in Pennsylvania. “Pennsylvania has been critical to the success of Fratello from the beginning, and what better way to say “Thank you” to the retailers there than with a blend exclusive to the state,” said company owner Omar de Frias in a press release. The Fratello Pennsylvania features a maduro Habano Ecuador wrapper over a Dominican binder and Nicaraguan fillers. The blend is rich, delivering ultra-rich Maduro flavors while being well balanced and well made. The cigars come in a 6x52 Figurado in 10-count boxes and are made in Nicaragua.
I bought this specifically because of the box. However, the cigar itself is a great smoke. It's a beautiful looking cigar with great quality build and flavor. For me it sits right in the mild+ range for body and strength. Not overly bold and strong, but definitely not light and soft. So even if you're someone like me who doesn't pick up on flavor notes, it is still a great smoke and well worth trying out.
Overall it's a great smoke and definitely worth purchasing if you're thinking about getting some for yourself. I'm glad I got myself the box because I'm going to want more after having the first one.

Really enjoyable smoke. It doesn’t really come to life until the second third, but it’s certainly worth the wait. Bold, meaty, and rich in earthiness, leather, and notes of chocolate. Grab a box while you still can.

Fratello Pennsylvania Figurado Maduro Review
Written by N. Douglas on Feb 6th 2021
This is an excellent cigar from Fratello!!! The first few puffs had a little spice, which eased up after a couple minutes. 1/3 had light flavors of bitter chocolate or coffee. VERY OILY AND SLICK! Retrohale had a little sweetness with no burn. 2/3 The spice kicked up just a tiny bit and it was still very oily (not in a bad way). I purged and the oiliness turned VERY SMOOTH!!! The cocoa flavors ramped up quite a bit. So good!! The retrohale was still sweet with a hint of orange peels. You can not go wrong with cocoa and orange peels. 3/3 Cocoa turned to more of a coffee flavor. The final third transitioned back to an oily finish. Retrohale lost the orange flavor and had more of a generic citrus flavor. Definitely a full bodied smoke. I suggest drinking some water this or you could go for a CREAM SODA.
This is certainly a box worthy cigar and takes you on a bit a journey of flavors. EXCELLENT JOB BY FRATELLO and ACC always does a great job with shipping.
