Produced by AJ Fernandez, Aksum is the rebranded version of Foundation’s Metapa. The blend consists of Nicaraguan tobaccos encased inside a Connecticut broadleaf binder and finished inside an Ecuadorian Sumatra maduro wrapper. Expect a bold, rich experience ripe with notes of cocoa, cedar, and spice on the finish.

Foundation Aksum Corona Gorda Claro & Maduro and Tabernacle No. 142 Goliath
These Foundation Aksum Corona Gorda Claro & Maduro Cigars, along with the Tabernacle Havana seed Connecticut Boadleaf No. 142 Goliath, are absolutely “Top Shelf” in my opinion and Atlantic Cigar exercises the utmost care in their packing, shipping, pricing and customer service interactions. If you were to ask me which one is my favorite? My honest answer would be”The one I’m smoking at the time”. Altogether I have 8 boxes: of these Foundation Cigars 3 ea. Aksum Claro and Maduro and 2 ea. Tabernacle No. 142 Goliath. All except 5 individual cigars are resting comfortably in ziplocks back in their original boxes.
