Aging Room Quattro
My friend introduced me to this great cigar. I was looking for an alternative to Padron (they have become outrageously expensive and hard to find). This cigar did not disappoint! It is an excellent cigar!

Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Maestro Torpedo
Rafael Nodal, creator of the Aging Room brand, launched his cigars in 2011 with partner José “Jochy” Blanco in the Dominican Republic. That debut quickly turned heads, as Aging Room landed a coveted spot on Cigar Aficionado’s “Top 25 Cigars of 2011.” Since then, the brand has expanded into multiple lines crafted at different factories. One standout is the 96-rated Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua, produced by A.J. Fernandez in Nicaragua. Known for his mastery of Nicaraguan tobacco, Fernandez has built a reputation for consistently creating top-rated cigars, many of which have earned spots on Cigar Aficionado’s prestigious Top 25 list.
The Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua represents the pinnacle of this collaboration—a Nicaraguan puro showcasing Fernandez’s carefully cultivated tobaccos. Bold, complex, and memorable, this full-bodied cigar offers rich notes of dark chocolate and wood, layered with hints of caramel and toasted almonds. The result is a beautifully balanced smoke that earned the ultimate honor: Cigar Aficionado’s “Cigar of the Year” in 2019.

Being honest, Seeing Cigar Aficionado’s rating for this stick definitely got my attention. As I’m sure many will do the same, so I had to try for myself. I don’t think I’d give it a 96, but I was not disappointed. Being a fan of darker and flavorful, premium cigars, this was a pleasant surprise. Not a Plasencia or Padron, but a nice smoke.
