The Serino Royale Cigars
The Serino Royale Series is the first release of a super-premium line from Tony Serino a 20+ year veteran of the cigar industry, who up to this point was involved with importing and distributing cigars. Now Serino has partnered with a familiar name in the cigar industry, Omar González Alemán of La Corona Cigars S.A. to produce the Serino Royale cigars. González established himself in Cuba where he became the head director of the La Corona Factory in Havana. This factory manufactures brands such as Romeo y Julieta, Hoyo de Monterrey, Cuaba, Por Larranga, Saint Luis Rey, San Cristobal de Habana and some Montecristos. More recently González has established his own factory, La Corona SA in Esteli, Nicaragua. He has been involved with such brands as HR, Soneros, and Cubanacan.
The Serino Royale Cigars were some of the top cigars we tested at the 2016 IPCPR tradeshow in Las Vegas, each of the 4 lines are expertly rolled and delivered rich complex flavors, the lines range from mild-medium to full bodied that’s sure to be enjoyed by a wide range of cigar smokers.
The Serino Royale Connecticut is a mild to medium-bodied smoke geared for either the beginner or experienced cigar smoker who likes a Connecticut wrapped cigar. The cigar delivers a complex flavor profile while staying in a mild-medium strength profile. Notes of cedar, pecan, pepper, and a touch of oak are present, with a long creamy finish with a hint of sweetness. The Serino Royale Connecticut isn’t the run of the mill Connecticut smoke, but rather a unique blend compared to other Connecticut cigars currently on the market.
