Originally released as a limited edition cigar, the Mr. Sam is now a regular release from Bill Paley and La Palina. The La Palina Mr. Sam still has the same roots as the limited edition but is now more accessible to the public. The Mr. Sam is still made inthe Miami-based El Titan de Bronze factory with the same blend. This cigar consists of Nicaraguan filler and binder with a dark Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The line will still have the original Robusto 4 ¾ x 54 but will be accompanied with two other vitolas, a Toro measuring in at 6 x 50 and a Corona measuring at 5 ½ x 42. The La Palina Mr. Sam has always rated high by cigar blogs and received a 92 by Cigar Journal. This is one top-notch cigar for any aficionado.
La Palina has released a new limited edition cigar the “Mr. Sam,” under their La Palina Collection line. Like the Goldie this is a limited production run and only 850 boxes of 10 cigars were produced. The La Palina Collection Mr. Sam is a tribute to Samuel Paley who founded La Palina cigars in 1896 and Mr. Sam was the name bestowed upon him by the workers in his factory. The cigars are rolled at the famed El Titan de Bronze factory in Miami, the blend consist of a dark Ecuadorian wrapper cloaked over an all Nicaraguan core. The result is a rich flavorful smoke that sure to please La Palina fans everywhere, but hurry these will sell out fast.
