CAO Zócalo Limited Edition Cigars
CAO Zócalo limited Edition marks the first for CAO using a Mexican wrapper on one of its cigars. The CAO Zócalo, is a limited edition 6 x 60 vitola released to celebrate the Cinco de Mayo holiday. The name Zócalo refers to the main square in Mexico City, and the blend is comprised of a San Andres Mexican maduro wrapper with a Cameroon binder and fillers from Nicaragua. “Zócalo speaks to CAO’s spirit of going off the beaten path,” according to Rick Rodriguez, CAO’s master blender, in a press release. “We’ve never used Mexican tobacco in any of our blends, so we went bold by using a Mexican wrapper leaf. It’s a special Morron wrapper grown in the San Andrés Valley and it delivers a great, earthy flavor I know the CAO fans will love.” The CAO Zócalo is a one time limited edition release with a small production number, the cigars come packaged in 20 count boxes.
