eh....it's aight.
to be fair, im not generally a big fan of camacho cigars. this one is a little better than the rest. it was very reasonably priced (thanks, atlantic!) and as a bonus, it came with a really sweet looking travel humidor embalzoned with a big yellow scorpion on it for free. burn rate was pretty even, and it held ash for well over an inch, almost an inch and a quarter, so it was well wrapped. draw was perfect on the that i tried; one with a shuriken cutter, and two with two different punch diameters. the smoke was cool and had some decent flavor to it, generally pleasant. my one issue with it is the same as every other camacho ive ever tried: it left a strange, almost bitter aftertaste. it's not unique to this cigar but to the brand for me, and i dont really get that in almost any other brand. not harsh or overly unpleasant, just....not my cup of tea. and you know, for the price of the box and the flavor while im smoking, ill just deal with it. the robusto was the perfect size, i think this blend in that size is pretty ideal. it's a medium blend. it had the smoothness of a connecticut with the balance of a more full body. it is the best camacho ive ever had, and from a guy that avoids camachos, i really do mean that as a compliment. atlantic, as always, provided awesome pricing and super quick shipping. love this site.
